Farzin at Central Driving Academy is one of the main reasons I passed. I was very nervous about driving a couple of months ago. I'd make one small mistake and then spiral...miss a mirror check, panic, forget to signal, panic harder. Farzin picked up on that pattern and gave me feedback in the moment so I could catch myself before things snowballed. Practical stuff, not therapy, but it worked. He also gave me a honest assessment in my last two lessons that I was doing good... that validation gave me the confidence to ace the class 5 icbc test. He also taught me in my own car, which was important because my spouse was on vacation and I needed to keep it running in winter. At one point the battery died and he helped me revive it. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Central Driving Academy and especially Farzin. This experience meant a lot to our family. My son, Artin, had his road test scheduled for December 23rd, right before Christmas. As you can imagine, he was extremely nervous. A few of his friends had already taken their road tests and didn’t pass, which really affected his confidence. On top of that, it was the end of November, everyone was busy, and finding a good driving instructor at that time felt almost impossible. I knew he needed professional driving lessons with someone who was local, trusted, patient, and truly professional. After some searching, I came across Farzin at Central Driving Academy. When I first reached out, he was fully booked until the end of the year, which honestly didn’t surprise me. Still, I explained our situation and how important this road test was for my son. Farzin didn’t promise anything right away. He took my number and said he’d see what he could do. The very next day, he called back with good news—he managed to move things around and fit Artin in for four driving lessons. That alone already told me a lot about his character. From there, things only got better. Farzin picked Artin up directly from school every day, did the lesson, and then dropped him off at home. This was incredibly convenient for us and saved me from having to rush around downtown trying to make everything work. As a parent, that kind of flexibility means a lot. My son doesn’t naturally have high confidence, especially under pressure, so I was still a bit worried. But after just the second lesson, I noticed a significant improvement in his driving. He was calmer, more focused, and clearly more comfortable behind the wheel. When I asked Artin about the lessons, he told me that Farzin was very patient, extremely knowledgeable, and straight to the point. No fluff, no wasting time—just clear instructions, practical tips, and real preparation for the road test. That approach worked perfectly for him. On the day of the test, I was at work trying to mentally prepare myself for any outcome. I kept telling myself that even if he didn’t pass, it would be okay and he could try again. Then I got the call. Artin sounded so excited and said, “Dad, I passed!” That moment was priceless. Beyond just passing the road test, this experience helped my son regain his confidence, and that’s something you can’t put a price on. If you’re looking for a driving school, road test preparation, or a patient and professional driving instructor, I highly recommend Central Driving Academy and Farzin. Especially if your child is nervous or needs someone who truly knows how to teach—not just drive—you’ll be in very good hands. Thank you, Farzin, for going the extra mile for our family. I’ve learned a lot, and had lots of fun from Central Driving Academy especially with Mr. Farzin. Over these 10 lessons I’m confident enough to say that I’ve learned to be a good driver as a whole.
